Become a Member of AAUW
​
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a powerful community that breaks through barriers facing women and families today. Established in 1881, AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.
​
If you hold an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you can join AAUW. Individuals who have received honorary degrees from qualified institutions are also eligible for membership.
​
Students can join AAUW at a special discount rate or for free when their college or university becomes a partner member. AAUW college/university partner membership is open to regionally accredited educational institutions, including two-year or community colleges.

Membership Types and Current Dues

National Membership
AAUW total individual membership dues are $86. Of that amount, $46 is tax deductible as a charitable contribution. -
Graduate Students
Graduate students enrolled in a regionally accredited educational institution can join AAUW for $18.81.

Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students enrolled in a two- or four- year regionally accredited educational institution can join as student affiliates for $17. -
E-Affiliate Student Members
Students enrolled in colleges or universities that are AAUW college/university partner members can become AAUW e-affiliate members at no cost. -
AAUW Minnesota Membership
National members can become members of AAUW MN. Dues for AAUW MN are $9 for regular members and $2.50 for Student Affiliate members. -
Branch Members
Minnesota AAUW Branches set their own dues. Branch members also pay national and state dues.
